In collaboration with Apollo Sports, we are now offering a week-long yoga and meditation retreat at La Pared – powered by Playitas. This retreat is led by skilled and experienced Indian teachers.
Retreat Content:
Our Yoga and meditation retreats are led by Riyas Babu accompanied by Sujeesh Jayakumar and Mahendraji,highly . The weeks are designed to help participants integrate yoga knowledge into their daily lives. On a daily basis, we will practice traditional Hatha Yoga or Ashtanga Yoga, incorporating breathwork, asanas (physical exercises), and meditation. There will be workshops throughout the week to explore the philosophical aspects of yoga if you wish to delve deeper into the practice and learn how to apply it in your own daily life. Some of the well-known benefits of yoga include pain reduction, increased flexibility and strength, and emotional regulation.
Our evening Yin class will focus on restoring and calming both the body and soul. There will be opportunities for beach yoga and meditation to fully immerse yourself in the beautiful nature surrounding La Pared.
Who can join?
This week is for anyone who enjoys yoga and meditation, from beginners to experienced practitioners. Our teachers are skilled at adapting to participants’ levels.
Please note that all instruction will be in English.
Program: 07:30 Meditation and Pranayama 08:00 Traditional Hatha Yoga or Ashtanga (90 minutes of dynamic practice) 09:30 Breakfast 11:30 Yoga workshops (3 days a week, exploring yoga and its benefits) 13:00 Lunch 16:00 Yin Yoga (60 minutes) 17:00 Meditation (30 minutes) 19:00 Dinner

A Taste of India
During the week, the Canarian cuisine will be enriched by Kailash, a chef from Kerala, India. The Indian cuisine brings an authentic and delicious touch to the retreat. Kailash’s knowledge of various styles of Indian cooking is extensive. He incorporates fresh herbs from the hotel’s own garden, local ingredients and spices, and blends it with techniques from southern India to create recipes that appeal to a wide range of tastes and preferences.
At the retreat, Kailash will bring his expertise in vegan and Sattvic cooking, as well as his extensive knowledge of yogic philosophy, to create nutritious and exquisite meals for the participants. His passion for healthy, flavourful cooking, combined with his commitment to yoga education, makes him an excellent addition to the retreat.
Participants can look forward to enjoying tapas, paella, Papas arrugadas, and other Canarian specialties in symbiosis with Indian delights.
